Onsite role on W2 ( Consumer Device, or related experience is must have)
Must have skills:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software for consumer device programs from inception to production
  • Experience owning launch metrics and driving engineering teams, as well as experience managing complex programs with high interdependency and navigating risks within rigid deadlines.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of software development and product development processes and best practices.
  • Experience in managing multiple programs concurrently.
  • Experience in communicating program status, risks and planned mitigations to technical experts and leadership.
  • Candidates should have owned a device software program from development through production, ideally for wearables, mobile devices, audio, cameras, AR/VR, smart home, automotive, or robotics.

  • Experience working on battery life: silicon, power performance, firmware, embedded software
  • Big tech experience.


Job Overview:
The Technical Program Manager II will be responsible for the successful definition, implementation, and delivery of complex programs requiring cross-functional collaboration and management of interdependencies across multiple projects. This role involves strategic planning, executive-level interaction, and the ability to manage risks and deliver results within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget. The position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget, managing moderate-probability and moderate-impact risk factors.
  • Engage in program-level strategic planning and interact with executive-level management.
  • Resolve complex issues and foster team building and collaboration.
  • Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements that meet specified requirements.
  • Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimation, schedule development, and tracking.
  • Manage project budgets, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and customer interaction.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning in large organizations.
  • Proven people management and team-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt and exercise judgment in a changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform systems environments.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
