This is a hybrid role. Onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs in Columbia, SC.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

6 Years IT work experience including systems programming experience.
JCL
z/OS
MQ mainframe
Experience creating/maintaining a queue manager and queues

NICE TO HAVE:

CICS
Cobol
Unix & zlinux

DAY TO DAY:

Resolving test and production issues that arise
Working on customer requests such as creating a new queues, queue manager & changing queue depth.
Working on a multitude of projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers
Working with error reports and handling multiple tasks
Internal monitoring such as checking queue depth.

This is a long term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to full time.  
It is a 40 hour work week.  
Standard Hours are 8-4:30pm Monday - Friday.  
Overtime, on call, weekends, and off hours as needed once fully trained.
