Summary
Role : Senior DB2 SQL Developer with DBA knowledge
Location : Remote
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server and IBM DB2 database objects, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, scripts, and database code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting, including query optimization, Explain Plan analysis, locking, deadlock, and concurrency issue resolution.
- Design and implement database schemas, data models, and relationships to support business and application requirements.
- Develop, support, and maintain ETL, data integration, migration, and data extraction processes across multiple data sources.
- Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery standards are consistently maintained.
- Collaborate with application development, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into effective database solutions .
- Participate in the full database lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, deployments, upgrades, release management, and technical documentation while promoting database best practices and standards.
