Job Title: Mainframe IMS Developer (IMS DB & IMS DC)

Location: Peoria, IL (Onsite Only)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe IMS Developer with strong expertise in IMS DB (mandatory) and IMS DC (preferred) to support mission-critical applications at Caterpillar. This is a 100% onsite role in Peoria, IL.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with IMS DB (mandatory)
Experience with IMS DC (preferred)
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL
Good understanding of z/OS environment
Experience in application development, maintenance, and support
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates local to Illinois preferred
Prior experience working in large enterprise/mainframe environments

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance IMS-based applications
Perform production support and issue resolution
Work closely with business and technical teams
Participate in code reviews and documentation

Work Location:
Peoria, IL Onsite required (no remote option)
