Team: FUEL, Anaplan project

Summary: Anaplan is a finance tool being implemented. To build all models of FP&A to build company forecasts.

Anaplan experience level: Certified Level 3 or higher

Type: Remote
Preferred Locations: #1-Dallas/Ft. Worth area & TX; #2-CST; #3-EST
Experience: Must have 8+ years of U.S.A work experience.

Hours/Time Zone: Must be able to work 8 am CST – 5 pm CST! (CST & EST candidates only)
Travel: Must be able to travel 1 week to SWA Headquarters in Dallas to work onsite. This could be quarterly or monthly depending on the manager. (Expenses paid by SWA/Odyssey)

(Travel in Mon; in-office Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Vacation: No international travel / long vacations for first 90 days.

International Remote Work: Not approved. Not able if needing to take trip outside of U.S.A.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of building.
Certified Anaplan Solution Architect (Master Anaplanner preferred).
Proven experience designing multi-functional Anaplan models across FP&A, Sales, Supply Chain, or Workforce Planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be hands-on.
Problem solver.
SWA culture fit.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design for new and existing Anaplan models.
Define and enforce Anaplan modeling best practices, data structures, and integrations.
Create sustainable, scalable, and flexible model architectures aligned with business strategy.

Implementation & Development

Oversee and/or develop Anaplan models, modules, lists, dashboards, and data flows.
Partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure models are deployed efficiently and maintained effectively.

Manage the model lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and enhance.
