Develop applications and frameworks to interact with and manage devices and simulators running Apple's macOS, iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS platforms. Apply personal experience to enhance and augment the tools used every day. Responsible for developing features and improving the quality of the team's core product. Work closely with cross-functional partners across the company to deliver features that enhance the user and developer experience. Work on technical challenges with a diverse team that delivers high quality products that serve as a foundation for the developer experience at Apple. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. \n\nPAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation.\nExperience and/or education must include:\n\nDeveloping system level services and frameworks for macOS, iOS, tvOS, and watchOS leveraging XPC.\nUsing performance analysis tools to analyze network, disk, and CPU utilization and drive improvements.\nUsing Swift and Objective-C as a primary development language for services\nUsing Python for CI infrastructure and scripting\nUtilizing IPC and RPC for multi-process / multi-device services with Apple products\nUsing Swift Concurrency for task management in services\nCreating and maintaining test suites and CI workflows based on XCTest\nTriaging test failures and customer-reported bugs\nUsing CoreAnalytics to develop field analytics and creating dashboards to analyze those field analytics for comprehensive system monitoring and alerting
