Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer
Contract Period: ASAP - 1 year

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
5+ years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, or applied AI experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI and LLM-based systems in production.
Strong programming skills in Python with experience in backend and API development.
Experience with LLM application development, including prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, and structured output design.
Experience optimizing RAG pipelines using both structured and unstructured data.
Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent tools.
Experience applying generative AI techniques such as GANs and VAEs.
Hands-on experience with vector databases and retrieval systems like Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, Elasticsearch, or Azure AI Search.
Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern production deployment practices.
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, and distributed systems.
Experience building evaluation, testing, and monitoring pipelines for AI systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience fine-tuning or adapting open-source large language models.
Advanced knowledge of natural language processing for complex text generation tasks.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML, or Kubeflow.
Experience building multi-agent systems and advanced orchestration workflows.
Strong background in AI safety, guardrails, red-teaming, privacy, and governance.
Familiarity with search, ranking, recommendation, conversational AI, or enterprise knowledge systems.
Experience engineering customer-facing or enterprise SaaS products.
Experience developing AI solutions for large-scale enterprise, consumer technology, or retail sectors.

We are seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI applications powered by large language models. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of Generative AI solutions and translate real-world business problems into scalable AI systems that deliver measurable value. You will work cross-functionally with product, finance, data, and business stakeholders to define our long-term Generative AI architecture. This is an opportunity to shape a core AI platform, taking ownership of high-impact products from initial design through final deployment in a collaborative environment that encourages technical autonomy.
Responsibilities
Design and develop algorithms for generative models using advanced deep learning techniques.
Build and optimize LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows for internal and customer-facing use cases.
Develop and productionize RAG pipelines using enterprise data sources, vector databases, and retrieval systems.
Integrate diverse model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, alongside open-source models.
Create robust evaluation frameworks to measure response quality, factuality, latency, safety, and reliability.
Implement prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, and model optimization strategies.
Deploy scalable AI services to cloud environments utilizing modern MLOps practices.
Build monitoring, observability, and feedback loops to track model and application performance in production.
Establish and maintain guardrails, responsible AI practices, and security controls for all enterprise AI systems.
Mentor other engineers and help drive the technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices across the team.
