Role : UKG Migration Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for UKG migrations, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate tasks across cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients, internal teams (e.g., architects, consultants, developers), and third-party vendors to gather requirements, align on goals, and address challenges. Facilitate workshops to define business processes and system configurations.
• Migration Strategy and Oversight: Lead end-to-end migrations, including data migration, system configuration, integrations (e.g., payroll, ERP systems), and testing. Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Change Management: Drive user adoption by developing training programs, communication plans, and support strategies. Manage resistance and ensure smooth transitions for end-users.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks during migration, such as data loss, downtime, or integration issues. Implement contingency plans to address challenges.
• Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, maintain detailed project documentation, and ensure adherence to UKG s implementation methodologies.
• Post-Migration Support: Oversee hyper-care phases post-go-live, resolving issues and ensuring system stability. Transition projects to ongoing support teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:

10+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 3 years managing UKG product migrations (e.g., Workforce Central to UKG Pro WFM or UKG Pro HCM).

Proven success leading complex HCM/WFM implementations, preferably in multi-site or global environments.

Familiarity with time & attendance, scheduling, accruals, payroll, or HR processes.

• Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of UKG platforms (e.g., UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UKG Dimensions) and their integration capabilities with systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.

Experience with data migration tools, ETL processes, and cloud-based SaaS environments.

Basic knowledge of APIs, middleware, and system integrations.

• Project Management Skills:

Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or PMI frameworks).

Expertise with tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Smartsheet for tracking progress.

PMP, PMI-ACP, or UKG-specific certifications (e.g., UKG Pro Certified Consultant) are a plus.

• Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.

Ability to navigate complex, multi-country, or unionized environments.

Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions.

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, HR, or a related field. A Master s degree or MBA is preferred for senior roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with global UKG implementations, particularly in regulated industries like healthcare, retail, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of change management frameworks
