  • Perform device hardening, troubleshooting of escalated issues, and validation/testing of deployed configurations.
  • Work scheduled nighttime deployment windows, with scheduling communicated at least one week in advance; collaborate with management to maintain a balanced 40-hour workweek.
  • Contribute to clear documentation, testing results, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in firewall engineering or network security engineering.
  • Experience with:

Preferred Skills
  • Automation or scripting experience: Ansible, Python, or similar.
  • Familiarity with security automation, AI-driven tooling, or advanced troubleshooting utilities.
  • Experience with device hardening and secure configuration standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
