We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Cloud + DNS) to support a large-scale hybrid cloud transformation. This role will focus on bridging traditional on-prem networking with modern cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on enterprise DNS ownership.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where the ideal candidate will initially ramp into the environment and grow into a key contributor across cloud networking and DNS architecture.

What You?ll Do
? Own and support enterprise DNS architecture across on-prem and multi-cloud environments
? Help fill a critical DNS knowledge gap due to a senior team member retirement
? Design, implement, and support hybrid network connectivity between data centers and cloud platforms
? Contribute to cloud networking initiatives across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI (with priority on Azure and non-AWS environments)
? Support ongoing migration of infrastructure from on-prem to cloud
? Participate in network operations and on-call rotation, supporting a broad enterprise environment
? Troubleshoot complex networking and DNS issues across hybrid environments
? Collaborate with a large, fast-paced engineering team to support evolving infrastructure needs
? Gradually take on more ownership and complex responsibilities as you ramp into the environment
Must-Have Qualifications
? Strong background as a Network Engineer (not just cloud practitioner)
? Deep experience with enterprise DNS (architecture, operations, troubleshooting)
? Hands-on cloud networking experience in at least one major cloud provider (Azure preferred; AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OCI also relevant)
o Must be comfortable working in cloud environments without significant ramp-up or handholding
o Experience should go beyond basic deployments (e.g., VPC/VNet design, connectivity, routing, security)
? Experience working in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
? Experience with network connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect)
? Ability to troubleshoot across a broad networking stack (routing, DNS, connectivity, etc.)
? Strong problem-solving ability and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

? Experience across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OCI)
? Network automation experience (Python, Terraform, Ansible, APIs) ? trainable if strong elsewhere
? Experience with Infoblox (DNS/IPAM)
? Experience with F5 / load balancing (lower priority)
? Exposure to DNS security concepts (e.g., DNSSEC)
? Experience in large enterprise environments
