Job title: Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant (Technical Focus-Not Functional)
Location: Newark, NJ
Job type: Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (no exceptions).
Local preferred; non-local must relocate Day 1.
Role Overview: Technical consultant for new Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. Strong coding, integrations, interfaces, reporting, and development required. Not functional role.
Required Experience
- 10+ years as Systems Analyst/Developer (min. 3 years on Oracle HCM: Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, Retirement)
- 2+ full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):
- OTBI & BIP report development: 7+ years
- Team training/mentoring: 3+ years
- SQL: 5+ years
- Python: Highly desired
Key Responsibilities
- Develop BRDs and design RICEW objects
- Build inbound/outbound integrations using OIC
- Develop OTBI/BIP reports
- Manage data conversions (HDL, HCM Extracts, UCM, MFT)
- Customize pages, fast formulas, workflows, roles
- Lead testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycle
Core Technical Skills
- SQL/PL/SQL, XML, JavaScript, Web Services
- HCM base tables, integration patterns
- Page personalization (sandbox, Redwood, OGL)
- Familiarity with SFTP, Recruitment Booster
