Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support its Digital Modernization initiative. This role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure and modern full-stack technologies.

The selected candidate will work on mission-critical applications that support internal business operations and public-facing services. The initial project involves enhancing and integrating a public-facing notification platform with key enterprise systems to improve operational efficiency, customer engagement, and service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience, technical leadership capabilities, and expertise in cloud architecture, backend and frontend development, enterprise integrations, and secure DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready full-stack applications from concept through implementation.
• Enhance existing enterprise applications by introducing new features while preserving core functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop backend services, microservices, and REST APIs using .NET Core or Node.js within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Build responsive, user-friendly enterprise interfaces using React or Angular.
• Design and implement enterprise system integrations, data flows, and application integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application deployment.
• Design and implement Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), network segmentation, subnet architecture, Azure Front Door, and Application Gateway configurations.
• Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL Database and SQL Managed Instance.
• Apply appropriate data modeling techniques, including document modeling and denormalized data structures.
• Improve application performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and user experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on software development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• At least 5 years of experience with backend development using .NET Core or Node.js in Azure environments.
• At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using React or Angular.
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes/AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault.
• At least 5 years of experience with Azure networking, including VNet architecture, network segmentation, subnet design, Azure Front Door, and Application Gateway.
• At least 5 years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL database design, and data modeling.
• At least 5 years of experience in solution design, enterprise integrations, and cross-functional technical coordination.
• Ability to take applications from initial concept through development, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability, availability, and enterprise development best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Education Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and supporting public-facing applications and mission-critical enterprise systems.
• Experience integrating applications with complex enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and its enterprise application development and governance capabilities.
• Experience improving existing applications through performance optimization, automation, accessibility enhancements, and user experience improvements.
