Summary

Stand8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (CMS & Intranet) to support enterprise communications and employee experience initiatives for a leading media and entertainment organization. This role requires proven, hands-on experience delivering an internal intranet build, major redesign, or replatforming effort on at least one deployment. The successful resource will partner with Corporate Communications, business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, and vendor teams to help shape the future of internal digital communications platforms, including intranet and content management capabilities. The ideal candidate has personally led or materially contributed to taking an internal intranet from discovery through content readiness, platform implementation, launch, and adoption, while bringing business analysis, product delivery, content management, metadata, taxonomy, and process-design expertise.

Location & Work Type

Location: Los Angeles (Burbank adjacent) or New York City (Manhattan)
Work Type: Hybrid (onsite four days per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business and content subject matter expert for intranet, employee communications, content management, and employee engagement platforms.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define future-state content, information architecture, navigation, metadata, and taxonomy needs.

  • Develop practical content governance standards, including ownership, lifecycle management, review processes, publishing practices, and quality controls.

  • Lead content-readiness activities that support platform evolution, including content inventory, migration planning, archival, and content-organization processes.

  • Analyze business processes, data, and user needs to recommend scalable solutions that improve employee communications and digital workplace experiences.

  • Translate stakeholder needs into process models, user stories, functional requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.

  • Collaborate with engineering, enterprise architecture, and vendor partners to evaluate capabilities and inform solution and design decisions.

  • Facilitate discovery, planning, design, and prioritization sessions to align stakeholders on requirements, dependencies, risks, and delivery priorities.

  • Validate that platform configuration, workflows, integrations, data structures, and controls align with approved business and content-management requirements.

  • Support testing, demonstrations, launch readiness, deployment activities, and continuous improvement following release.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience delivering an internal intranet build, redesign, or replatforming initiative, including content readiness and launch activities.

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Content Strategist, CMS Business Analyst, Information Architect, Product Analyst, or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of content management system principles, publishing workflows, content governance, and operational best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with information architecture, content taxonomy, metadata, controlled vocabularies, content types, and content lifecycle practices.

  • Experience planning and supporting content inventory, content migration, archival, or content-organization initiatives.

  • Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms, including Drupal, SharePoint, or comparable modern CMS solutions.

  • Experience supporting Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Employee Experience, Digital Workplace, Marketing Technology, or related enterprise platforms.

  • Strong business analysis, product, or project delivery skills, including requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and rollout planning.

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

  • Strong analytical, communication, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, with the ability to work onsite a minimum of four days per week in Los Angeles or New York City.

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience supporting an enterprise intranet or employee communications platform through production launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Familiarity with headless CMS, enterprise search, digital asset management, email or campaign management, or AI-enabled content experiences.

  • Experience supporting a large media, entertainment, or similarly complex enterprise environment.
