Summary

Role Overview:
Well be is seeking a Senior Snowflake Architect to design and lead scalable, secure, and costeffective Snowflake data platforms within healthcare data ecosystems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Snowflake, strong healthcare data experience, and the ability to partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver highimpact analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Architecture: Design robust, scalable Snowflake architectures supporting advanced analytics and real-time data processing.
• Strategic Advisory: Partner with executives and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and proposals.
• Technical Leadership: Lead proofs of concept (POCs), conduct code reviews, and mentor data engineers on best practices.
• Performance & Cost Optimization: Optimize warehouse sizing, monitor credit consumption, implement resource monitors, and tune complex queries.
• Data Governance & Security: Define and enforce data governance, quality standards, lineage, and compliance frameworks.
• Healthcare Data Integration: Build Patient 360 solutions by integrating clinical, operational, and financial data sources.
• Secure Data Sharing: Enable crossorganization collaboration using Snowflake Secure Data Sharing.
• Advanced Analytics (Nice to Have): Support AI/ML and MLOps use cases for predictive healthcare insights such as risk stratification and readmission prediction.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
• 10+ years in IT with a focus on healthcare data (EHRs, claims, clinical research).
• 3–5+ years architecting multitenant Snowflake environments, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
• Proven experience migrating sensitive healthcare data from onpremises systems to the cloud.

Compliance & Security:
• Handson experience with HIPAA and HITRUSTcompliant architectures.
• Experience working under Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Technical Skills
Snowflake Expertise:
• Virtual Warehouses, Micropartitioning, Clustering Keys
• Time Travel, ZeroCopy Cloning
• Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks
• Secure Data Sharing (internal and marketplace) Data Engineering & Modeling:
• Expert SQL and Python
• ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, or Informatica
• Data modeling: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault 2.0

Governance & DevOps:
• RoleBased Access Control (RBAC), data masking
• GDPR and HIPAA compliance
• CI/CD automation using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Terraform
