Position: ServiceNow QA Lead
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – Currently 2 days/week onsite, subject to change)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist 4 / Quality Assurance & Testing Lead to lead testing efforts for enterprise ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements. This role will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and organizational standards.
The selected candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to develop testing strategies, execute test plans, manage defects, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA and testing activities for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Utilize ServiceNow Test Management and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for testability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams.
- Track, manage, and validate defects through resolution.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.
- Provide testing metrics, status reports, and risk assessments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrade testing and release validation.
- Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices.
- Maintain QA documentation, standards, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience in ServiceNow environments.
- 5+ years working in Agile software development teams.
- Experience testing ServiceNow ITSM and CRM/CSM applications.
- Experience with ServiceNow Test Management and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and release testing.
- Experience testing ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong ServiceNow QA/Test Lead background.
- Hands-on experience with ATF automation.
- Experience leading testing efforts across multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
