  • Work with a global team of talented Software and QA Engineers.
  • Be part of the team leading the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing control software technology and trends.
  • Work in Phoenix, the heart of the next semiconductor technology hub.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software in simulation environments and on physical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Execute and analyze engineering designs against intended outcomes, providing feedback on quality, effectiveness, and performance.
  • Automate, streamline, and maintain QA processes to integrate seamlessly with CI/CD development workflows.
  • Utilize and implement established quality standards, methods, and procedures within existing business processes.
  • Develop and implement new quality standards, methods, and procedures not currently encompassed by existing business processes, both within and outside the Software Engineering organization.
  • Learn system operation across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
  • Create and manage test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough validation of software enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Work with Process Engineering teams to test systems, identify optimal usage scenarios, achieve desired results, and define enhancements or quality improvements.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate within Agile software development environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) Planning activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to support SAFe Agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, software testing, or test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with test case management and issue tracking tools.
  • Experience in System Quality Assurance or System Quality Engineering, including hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) supporting complex electromechanical systems with integrated software controls, preferably within the semiconductor equipment industry.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), or other enterprise Agile practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time.

What Sets You Apart
  • Experience with SAFe Agile (Scaled Agile Framework), including participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning.
  • Professional Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or similar Agile/Scrum certifications.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and test management tools such as TestComplete or TestRail.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience configuring software applications, managing software versioning, or providing configuration management support within a software development environment.
  • Experience creating, executing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile test automation, DevOps practices, and continuous quality improvement processes.
