Role Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to play a critical role in an enterprise-wide ERP and HCM transformation, migrating from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion. This position will lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable architectural solutions that align technology with business strategy. You will serve as a subject matter expert, translating business requirements into integrated system designs and guiding large-scale initiatives to deliver secure, compliant, and future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex architectural solutions, leading the development of new systems and applications.
  • Develop a future-state vision for technology architecture, ensuring decisions made today account for impacts two years down the road.
  • Establish data architecture, governance frameworks, and data lineage strategy.
  • Lead complex IT projects, oversee project budgets and timelines, and manage vendor selection.
  • Develop testing, release, and change strategies, particularly for managing Oracle Fusion updates and regression testing.
  • Drive enterprise transformation decisions and work cross-functionally to solve for immediate and future-state needs.
  • Serve as the architectural subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex technical issues.
  • Mentor technical staff and contribute to building a resilient team structure.

Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM/ERP transformation projects, specifically with migration to Oracle Fusion from PeopleSoft. Experience with PeopleSoft is required. Preference for ERP experience over HCM, as finance systems involve more complex data exchange.

Technical Skills: Experience with a broad stack of integration technologies such as Mulesoft and PL/SQL is required. OIC is good to have but is not the sole focus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a true architect who has championed enterprise transformation, rather than a team leadership or project management focus.
  • Ability to develop and present architecture diagrams for complex system replacement projects.
  • Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to engage audiences with technical material.
  • Passion for technology and the energy to champion change within an organization.
  • Experience in either a consulting or end-client environment.

Work Environment

This is an individual contributor role reporting to a senior manager, with no direct reports. The position involves mentoring colleagues and working within a team of four architects. The role requires the ability to travel up to 20% for key meetings, training, or conferences. This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.
