RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Program Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a risk-managed ERP transition, focused on sunsetting a legacy ERP and migrating to SAP while intentionally decoupling warehouse modernization from the core ERP replacement. The ideal candidate brings strong cross-functional leadership across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT, with a proven ability to manage dependencies, sequencing, and cutover in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end program execution for legacy ERP sunset and decommissioning
* Drive the transition from a legacy ERP to SAP S/4 (preferred) while maintaining continuity of operations
* Ensure legacy shutdown activities are fully planned, sequenced, and executed without business disruption
* Coordinate tightly partners to align priorities, timelines, and decision-making
* Act as the primary integrator across workstreams
* Facilitate executive-level communication on program status, risks, trade-offs, and decisions
* Ensure financial integrity during the transition
* Maintain clear ownership of the order lifecycle across legacy and target systems during transition phases
* Oversee the inventory system of record transition
* Own cutover planning
* Lead data migration planning and execution
* Actively manage interdependencies between ERP, downstream systems, non-SAP platforms, and 3PLs
* Operate effectively in environments where wrehouse operations are light-touch in SAP, or fulfillment and logistics are handled via non-SAP systems or 3PLs
* Ensure ERP replacement does not force unnecessary warehouse transformation or process re-engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience leading ERP sunset / decommissioning programs
* Hands-on experience transitioning from a legacy ERP to SAP (S/4 preferred)
* Strong understanding of financial controls, inventory accounting, and order lifecycle processes
* Demonstrated ability to decouple ERP replacement from warehouse modernization
* Experience operating in hybrid landscapes (SAP + non-SAP systems, 3PLs)
* Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Expertise in:
* Program governance and dependency management
* Cutover and go-live planning
* Data migration and legacy shutdown activities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
