Overview / Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Lead for a retail client engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for web, API, and end-to-end testing. This role involves leading automation efforts, developing reusable components, executing automation scripts, and driving continuous improvement in automation practices. Retail domain experience is preferred, particularly in eCommerce, order management, inventory, supply chain, or customer-facing digital applications.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience in automation framework design and implementation.
Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
Good knowledge of Cypress and Robot Framework preferred.
Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar scripting languages.
Experience with API testing using Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools.
CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools.
Experience with JIRA, qTest, ALM/QC, or Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and improve script stability.
Good SQL knowledge for backend validation.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
