SAP SD / OTC Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD / Order-to-Cash (OTC) Business Analyst to support and enhance our SAP ERP landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SD processes, strong business engagement experience, and a proven track record in system integrations and full lifecycle implementations.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes, system optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional lead for SAP SD / OTC processes.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and scalable SAP solutions.

• Configure and support SAP SD modules including:

  • Order Management

  • Pricing

  • Billing

  • Shipping

  • Credit Management

  • Returns & Rebates

• Support and enhance end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI/CO, MM, PP) to ensure integrated business process flows.

• Lead and support SAP SD implementations, enhancements, and system upgrades.

• Manage integrations between SAP and third-party systems (Salesforce, PLM, external logistics providers, APIs, EDI, CPI, Azure integrations, etc.).

• Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and solution design.

• Develop functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, test scripts, and training materials.

• Support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities.

• Provide production support and resolve complex SD-related issues.

• Drive process improvements and system optimization initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with internal governance and audit standards (SOX where applicable).

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience.

• Strong expertise in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.

• Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation.

• Strong integration experience with:

  • SAP FI/CO

  • Third-party systems (APIs, EDI, Azure Integration, SAP CPI, etc.)

• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of pricing procedures, account determination, output determination, and credit management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to work with global and remote teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA (SD module).

• Experience integrating SAP with Salesforce or PLM systems.

• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

• SAP SD certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements (SOX).
