Sr Functional SAP Federal Financials Analyst (US Cit to pass clearance)

We are seeking to hire a Sr Functional SAP Federal Accounting / Funds Management Analyst to join our team working on a multi-year award we have within a large Federal Gov’t agency in the Washington, DC area.  This role is 100% remote.

Being a US Cit is required for being able to pass the Public Trust clearance process for working on this program.

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

·        The Senior Functional Analyst - SAP GL requires Federal Accounting and extensive SAP GL/ USSGL experience as well as SAP-Funds Management and SAP-Accounts Payable experience.

·        Candidates

·        must be able to react to changing federal statues and US Treasury mandates and implement the required changes.

·        This is a client facing role that requires frequent communication with client leadership.

·        The ideal candidate will have experience assisting the client with whitepapers and implementing required system changes.

·        Ability to gather requirements and work closely with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements.

·        The Senior Functional Analyst will perform complex functional GL configuration changes and maintenance, log SAP OSS notes and follow up on resolutions, perform root cause analysis on Tier 2 and 3 issues, log and manage assigned tickets in ServiceNow and escalate issues and report status to management as required.

·        Must have experience writing and executing test plans.

·        Must have strong analytical and communication skills, including experience interacting with client teams and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

·        ServiceNow experience is desired.

·        The role requires a minimum of 10 years of SAP GL experience.
