Job DescriptionAs part of the LM Aero Simulation and System Labs, the candidate will be the Operations Lead for Air Combat Simulation (ACS) ensuring lab operations for F-22, F-35, and Advanced Development Program (ADP) Simulation Systems. Overseeing the Test Engineer for F-22 Systems Testing of aircraft operations flight program (OFP) software aircraft upgrades. The role is diverse, will develop a broad understanding of 5th Gen high fidelity simulation, and will have the technical lead for aspects of the ACS test suite and administrative responsibilities for portions of ACS lab governance (configuration management, security, equipment accountability, access control, and procedural documentation).
What You Will Be DoingAs the Air Combat Simulation Operations Lead, F-22 Simulation Stf you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, authoring, and conducting system-level F-22 Operational Flight Program testing, developing test procedures, and leading ACS support activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate, author, and conduct F-22 OFP testing at the system level using simulation and automated test tools.
- Develop detailed test procedures and collaborate with developers and test organizations to align test plans.
- Lead ACS support for system-level development testing and coordinate efforts with the ACS Software Test Lead.
- Execute tests, analyze results, and produce clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee coordination between Cyber Security, Classified System Administration, and lab technicians for lab operations and hardware maintenance.

Further Information About This Opportunity The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications Experience with fighter avionics, fighter data-link systems, fighter subsystem and sensor integration, and test planning or operational experience of the same.
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other STEM disciplines or non technical degree combined with 8+ relevant experience.
Desired skills US military 4th or 5th gen fighter pilot/aircrew experience is highly desired.
Candidate will immediately represent ACS to customers and strong communication skills are a must.
Direct experience with fifth generation aircraft (F-22, F-35, or B-2) flight and system integration testing.
Specific experience with testing Inter-Flight Data Link (IFDL), Link-16, fighter sensors, sensor track fusion, and communications, navigation, and identification (CNI) systems a plus.
Working with budgets (Earned Value Management or Control Account Manager)
Linux / Python language experience with coding or scripting

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
