AI Architect

Title: AI Architect

Location:  Remote

We are seeking an experienced AI Architect with strong Azure expertise to design and lead scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role requires a strong software engineering background, architecture mindset, and hands-on experience building and implementing AI-driven solutions in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will combine AI, cloud, and software engineering capabilities with the ability to define technical strategy and guide teams in delivering innovative solutions.

Experience

·        12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience

·        5+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML and Generative AI technologies

·        5+ years of Azure cloud experience (must have)

·        Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale AI solutions

·        Healthcare, payer, provider, or regulated industry experience preferred

Required Skills

·        Strong Python development experience; Django experience preferred

·        Hands-on expertise with AI/ML and Generative AI technologies

·        Deep understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, AI Agents, and enterprise AI integration patterns

·        Experience designing scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

·        Strong experience scaling AI POCs into enterprise-grade production solutions

·        Strong understanding of SDLC, software engineering best practices, and system design

Azure Expertise (Must Have)

Hands-on experience with:

·        Azure OpenAI

·        Azure AI Services / Azure ML

·        Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)

·        Azure Functions

·        Azure API Management

·        Azure Cognitive Search

·        Azure Storage and cloud-native architecture patterns

Additional Skills

·        Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code

·        Understanding of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices

·        MCP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

·        Define and design scalable AI solution architectures aligned with business goals

·        Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions

·        Lead architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices

·        Mentor teams and guide technical implementation

·        Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive enterprise adoption
