Summary

Job Title: SQL / Power BI Developer Job ID: 26-01470 Location: Raleigh, NC Onsite (3 days/week) Duration: 12 months of contract

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a SQL/Power BI Developer with 3 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports. The role involves working closely with data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather business requirements and develop BI solutions
Design data models and build Power BI dashboards/reports
Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and DAX functions
Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance compliance
Integrate data from multiple sources (AWS Data Lake, cloud, Excel, etc.)
Optimize report performance and user experience
Collaborate with stakeholders and present insights

Requirements:

3 5 years of experience in SQL and Power BI development
Strong knowledge of DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
Experience with data modeling, ETL, and BI tools
Hands-on experience with Power BI security and data governance
Experience with AWS Data Lake / cloud environments
Familiarity with ODBC connectors and On-prem Data Gateway
Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Python, Java, or C#
