Educational Technologist
The Opportunity :

Provide comprehensive educational technology support services, including managing the Marine Corps Distance Education and Training Learning Systems Support (LSS) platform and collaborating with tier 1 support personnel to refine technical support strategies. Establish course clones based on regional needs, deliver training materials in electronic formats, and develop multimedia content, such as videos, tutorials, and databases, to support instructional efforts. Advise stakeholders on course organization, database management, and content delivery solutions. Conduct research on emerging educational technologies, recommend system enhancements, and act as the point of contact for technical issues, including bug fixes, upgrades, and system maintenance. Work independently while coordinating across teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical solutions and maintain user engagement in a dynamic learning environment.



You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Support Systems (LSS), including experience course setup and management
  • Experience in designing effective user interfaces, managing databases, and creating multimedia content such as videos, tutorials, documents, and spreadsheets
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials to varied audiences, including instructors, course directors, and staff
  • Experience in converting assessments for electronic delivery via Learning Support Systems (LSS) and government-approved assessment tools
  • Knowledge of distance education and training policies and procedures for MarineNet eLearning
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or Information Systems


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting military education programs or working with government-mandated systems
  • Experience in programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, to customize Learning Support Systems (LSS) interfaces and features
  • Experience with conducting system quality assurance testing or user-testing methodologies to improve eLearning system functionality
  • Knowledge of trends in educational technology, such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), or adaptive learning systems
  • Ability to create and implement innovative technical solutions for course distribution and content delivery across varied user environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and user issues in LMS or eLearning systems
  • Possession of strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with tier 1 support personnel, course developers, and stakeholders
  • Possession of strong problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • LMS Administration, Instructional Design Tools, or Project Management Certification, such as PMP, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
