Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, specifically focused on Claims data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter data, supporting reporting, analytics, and business insights for claims operations. This role partners closely with Claims, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, actionable data.
We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, specifically focused on Claims data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter data, supporting reporting, analytics, and business insights for claims operations. This role partners closely with Claims, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, actionable data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret P&C Claims data to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Work extensively with Guidewire ClaimCenter data models, tables, and extracts.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses related to claims performance, loss trends, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, and IT teams to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Validate data accuracy, perform data reconciliation, and support data quality initiatives.
- Support enhancements, migrations, or integrations involving ClaimCenter and downstream reporting systems.
- Provide insights on claim lifecycle, reserves, payments, recoveries, and loss ratios.
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Claims data (mandatory).
- Proven experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter data (must-have).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of P&C claims processes and terminology.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and explain data findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar).
- Exposure to data warehouses or cloud data platforms.
- Experience supporting claims analytics, operational KPIs, and regulatory reporting.
