About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for robotics and autonomous systems applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and efficient software that solves complex technical and business challenges.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software applications using C++ and related technologies.

Build logical and mathematical solutions to complex engineering and operational problems.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and integrate software components for robotic systems using ROS (Robot Operating System).

Utilize modern development tools and best practices, including version control, containerization, and automated workflows.

Analyze system capabilities, performance requirements, and data flows to develop optimized software solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.

Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.

Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to software engineering standards.

Continuously improve software reliability, maintainability, and scalability.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience developing software applications using C++.

Experience working in Linux-based development environments.

Experience using Git for source control and collaborative software development.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.

Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics software development.

Strong knowledge of software design, debugging, testing, and system integration principles.

Ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing software for robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time applications.

Knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with simulation environments, sensors, and robotic hardware integration.

Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
