Position Overview
Our Fortune 500 customer is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager Agile Delivery resource with strong experience leading enterprise technology initiatives across application delivery, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional execution. This role will support a portfolio of customer engagement and business systems initiatives, partnering closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and leadership to drive successful delivery.
The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of project management discipline, Agile delivery experience, executive communication skills, and comfort working within enterprise IT and cloud-based software environments. This person should be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing timelines, dependencies, risks, reporting, and team coordination across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day project execution for enterprise IT initiatives from planning through delivery
Coordinate project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and release activities across cross-functional teams
Organize and lead project status meetings, working sessions, and Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog grooming sessions, and retrospectives
Prepare and distribute project updates, meeting minutes, release notes, deployment plans, and executive-level communications
Create, update, and maintain project dashboards and reporting within Azure DevOps
Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to align delivery plans with business requirements and regulatory priorities
Ensure project teams adhere to established delivery standards, reporting expectations, quality practices, and operational processes
Track project progress against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk objectives, and take corrective action when needed
Identify project risks, issues, and impediments, and drive resolution or escalate appropriately
Coordinate work across multiple teams and locations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Support process improvement efforts and help implement best practices across project delivery activities
Help define team responsibilities, maintain accountability, and support strong collaboration across stakeholders
Present project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to leadership and other key stakeholders
Promote a customer-focused delivery mindset and high standards of execution
Required Experience
10+ years of overall IT project delivery experience
7+ years of experience managing software development or enterprise application projects
5+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Proven experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, reporting, stakeholder communication, and release coordination
Experience working with enterprise software teams supporting application development, testing, and implementation
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
