Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SQL Server databases and data solutions.
Develop and support SSIS packages for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent Jobs.
Build and maintain ETL solutions using BIDS/SSDT.
Write and optimize complex T SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
Diagnose and resolve data issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across systems.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. Microsoft Fabric
Ensure that data is secure and meets all regulatory compliance standards, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption in Azure environments.
Develop and configure monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively enhance performance and optimize data systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.
Produce clear, concise technical documentation for all developed solutions

Requirements:

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later preferred).
Hands-on expertise in SSIS package development and deployment.
Solid knowledge of SQL Server Agent Jobs, scheduling, alerts, and monitoring.
Experience in using BIDS / SSDT for ETL and database development.
Advanced proficiency in T SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Understanding of relational database design, indexing strategies, and constraints.
Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and data inconsistencies.
Familiarity with source control and deployment practices for database/ETL artifacts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience or knowledge of Azure services (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, etc.)
Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Experience in data modeling, data architecture, and implementing ETL/ELT solutions
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
Experience with data governance and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
