As an SAP BusinessObjects Developer, you'll build and support SAP BO reports and dashboards.

SAP BusinessObjects Developer

Location: Hartford, CT / Bloomfield, CT / Austin, TX
Experience: 4 5 years

Required:

• SAP BusinessObjects: Web Intelligence (WebI), IDT, Universe Design, CMC
• Xcelsius dashboards and Live Office
• Report scheduling, publishing, and distribution
• BI reporting, semantic layer development, performance tuning
• Data modeling and reporting data marts
• Strong SQL and data warehouse experience

Duties:

BI & Reporting

• Build and support SAP BO reports and dashboards
• Develop WebI reports (multi source, formulas, variables, data merge)
• Create standard (canned) and ad hoc reports
• Build Xcelsius dashboards and integrate Live Office
• Schedule, burst, and distribute reports to users

Business & Solution Design

• Gather reporting requirements from business users
• Translate business needs into BI solutions
• Work with analysts and technical teams on reporting strategy

Universe & Data Modeling

• Design and maintain SAP BO Universes using IDT
• Build semantic layers for easy business use
• Optimize universes for performance and ad hoc querying
• Handle universe versioning and deployments

Data & Administration

• Support reporting databases and data marts
• Ensure data quality and performance with data teams
• Administer SAP BO platform (CMC)
• Manage users, roles, security (row level/object level)
• Maintain scheduling and publication services
