Role Overview
The Windchill Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing enterprise-level PLM programs utilizing PTC Windchill. This role entails overseeing the system s implementation, configuration, and transformation to align with business goals, engineering processes, and organizational timelines. The individual will ensure successful program delivery while driving process excellence and digital innovation across PLM domains.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership and Governance
Lead overall planning, execution, and governance of the Windchill PLM program.
Define program scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables.
Track project milestones, manage risks, and address dependencies proactively.
Implement SDLC practices (Agile or Waterfall) to ensure efficient project delivery.
Windchill Expertise
Manage configuration, customization, and system integrations with PTC Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink).
Oversee EBOM-to-MBOM transformation processes and coordinate BOM data loading and validation.
Ensure system compliance with PLM best practices and data governance standards.
Drive continuous improvements in PLM platform performance and usability.
Stakeholder and Team Management
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, roadmaps, and transformation strategies.
Partner with cross-functional teams in design, manufacturing, and operations to align PLM deliverables.
Communicate program status, progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and process excellence across teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in PLM program or project management.
Proven expertise in PTC Windchill environment, including hands-on knowledge of PDMLink, ProjectLink, and MPMLink.
Strong understanding of configuration management principles and manufacturing BOM processes.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience driving complex PLM integrations and digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
Background in large-scale enterprise PLM transformations.
Knowledge of ERP interfaces, data migration strategies, and related enterprise systems.
Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
