Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or
Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Engineering, MBA, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience with heat treat process development and deployment, including carburizing, hardening, tempering, austempering, and related thermal processes.
Strong background in ferrous metallurgy and metallurgical inspection methods.
Experience supporting or developing manufacturing processes for high-quality ferrous components.
Experience identifying process weaknesses and implementing improvements to improve quality, throughput, cost, and process stability.
Capital project management experience, including business case development, equipment justification, cost tracking, and project execution.
Ability to manage both short-term and long-term technical projects with minimal supervision.
Experience developing and implementing continuous improvement solutions within manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of quality systems such as AS9100, NADCAP, AIAG CQI-9, and/or ISO 9001 is preferred.
Experience with the selection, specification, procurement, or layout development of heat treatment equipment is beneficial.
Experience with surface coatings and plating is beneficial.
Understanding of statistics and design and analysis of experiments (DOE).
Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize metallographic and process data.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
