Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Oldsmar, FL
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, production workflows, and tooling to support high-quality CCA, module assembly, and cable harness production. This role partners closely with design engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements, enhance manufacturability, and ensure efficient, compliant production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for CCA and module assembly operations.
Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to drive production improvements and enhance product manufacturability.
Support daily production activities by working with cross-functional operations teams and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Develop, procure, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment needed to support manufacturing processes.
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans where applicable.
Monitor equipment, tools, and machinery performance; investigate issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
Provide technical guidance on design concepts, specifications, and manufacturability to ensure effective use of manufacturing methods and equipment.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and internal specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cable harness manufacturing and process documentation.
Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and technical specifications.
