Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions on AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, cloud data platforms, and big data technologies. The role involves defining data strategy, implementing data lakes and warehouses, and ensuring secure, high-performance data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable data architecture on AWS Cloud.

Develop and manage Data Lakes using Amazon S3.

Design and optimize data warehouses using Amazon Redshift.

Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon EMR.

Implement real-time data streaming using Amazon Kinesis.

Work with structured and unstructured data sources.

Define data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.

Optimize performance and cost of AWS data infrastructure.

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:

Amazon S3

Amazon Redshift

AWS Glue

Amazon EMR

AWS Lambda

Amazon Kinesis

Amazon RDS

Expertise in SQL and data modeling (Star & Snowflake schema).

Experience with Python / PySpark.

Knowledge of big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Experience in IAM roles, VPC, security, encryption, and access control.

Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty.

Experience with BI tools (Tableau / Power BI).

Experience in healthcare, BFSI, or retail domain.

Exposure to Snowflake or Databricks (good to have).
