Advanced Senior .NET Web Application Developer with .NET 8.0 and higher

Austin, TX 78701. The working position is On Site.

Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Work involves planning, analyzing, scheduling, coordinating and implementing programming projects; as well as providing technical assistance. This includes analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing applications to support the various functional areas of the Texas Lottery & Charitable Bingo. Works in a manner that exemplifies and supports the agency s core values of integrity, responsibility, innovation, fiscal accountability, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and excellence.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Years Required/Preferred Experience

8 Required SQL or PL/SQL

8 Required software version control experience

8 Required developing and maintaining secure .NET public websites

8 Required C#, ASP.NET (minimum 2 years .NET 8.0 and higher)

8 Required HTML, CSS and JavaScript

8 Required developing system documentation

1 Preferred Developing and maintaining Python batch scripts

1 Preferred Experience with Agile methodology

1 Preferred Experience with Syncfusion and Bold Reports for rich UI/UX development and reporting

1 Preferred Experience integrating with Google and Apple authentication systems

1 Preferred Experience with .NET LINQ (Language Integrated Query)

1 Preferred Experience developing Java applications

1 Preferred Knowledge of Charitable Bingo Rules and Regulations

1 Preferred Knowledge of interfaces and data exchange standards between software applications

III. TERMS OF SERVICE

Services are expected to start 04/13/2026 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2027. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 4160 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.

IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION

Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
