Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP/MES Architect with deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), PEO, QM, and MES integrations. The ideal candidate will lead solution architecture, configuration, and implementation for complex manufacturing environments, preferably within Aerospace & Defense or Automotive industries. This role requires strong functional leadership, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to guide development and data migration efforts in S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the SAP PP/MES solution architect, providing end-to-end functional leadership.

• Lead requirements gathering, translate business needs into end-to-end business processes, and create detailed functional specifications.
• Configure and support SAP PP, PEO, QM modules, including product rework, rework from stock, and MRO processes.
• Guide ABAP developers on technical solutions and validate developments through functional and business testing.
• Drive PP–MM and PP–QM integrations, including complex assembly manufacturing scenarios.
• Support material requirements planning (MRP), project stock, and WBS-driven manufacturing processes.
• Provide architectural guidance for MBOMs, routings, serialization, and batch management.
• Review and test architectural decisions related to BOMs, routings, orders, and serialization across system landscapes.
• Investigate and resolve data migration issues related to BOMs, routings, and master/transactional data.
• Perform multiple test cycles to validate BOMs, routings, and production orders across environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of SAP solutions with operational goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15–20 years of experience as an SAP PP/MES Consultant or Architect.
• Strong hands-on configuration expertise in:
• SAP PP
• SAP PEO
• SAP QM
• Experience with complex assembly manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Material Master
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Routings / Production Versions
• Serialization & Batch Management
• Hands-on experience with MRP, project stock, and WBS-based manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) including:
• Network Orders
• WBS Elements
• PP–PS integration (MAKIs)
• Experience working on multiple SAP implementations (2–3 preferred) in PP and QM.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Industry experience in Aerospace & Defense or Automotive Manufacturing.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of Parameter Unit Effectivity (aircraft build scenarios).
• Exposure to SAP CAMS (Complex Assembly Manufacturing System).
• Experience with data migration from SAP or non-SAP systems using:
• LTMC
• LSMW
• S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit
• SAP Data Services / SAP BODS
• Familiarity with S/4HANA database concepts
