Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce QA for our client in Los Angeles, CA
Job Title: Salesforce QA
Job Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $40hr - $45hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience in Salesforce functional manual testing.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture and data model.
  • Hands-on experience testing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with standard and custom objects, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce release cycles and regression testing.
  • Solid understanding of STLC and SDLC.
  • Experience with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or qTest.
  • Ability to perform basic SOQL/SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in testing web-based enterprise applications.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional design documents.
  • Design and execute test scenarios and test cases for Salesforce features.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, including objects, fields, page layouts, and record types.
  • Test validation rules, workflows, flows, and approval processes.
  • Perform functional validation of customizations built using Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
  • Validate integrations with external and downstream systems.
  • Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
  • Ensure end-to-end testing coverage across releases and sprints.
  • Support UAT execution, defect triage, and business sign-off activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare and share test execution reports, defect reports, and quality metrics.

Qualification and Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
