Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Consultant with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS to support end-to-end data integration, transformation, and reporting initiatives. This role requires hands-on development, performance optimization, and production support experience, along with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development
• Strong expertise in T-SQL programming and query optimization
• Proven experience with SSIS for ETL development
• Experience with SSRS reporting (interactive and paginated reports)
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning and indexing strategies
• Experience with SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and monitoring
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable T-SQL queries
• Build, enhance, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and performance tuning in ETL workflows
• Schedule, monitor, and manage ETL jobs using SQL Server Agent
• Develop and maintain interactive and paginated reports using SSRS
• Manage report deployment, subscriptions, and security
• Collaborate with business users to gather and translate reporting requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in queries, ETL jobs, and reports
• Apply indexing strategies and query tuning techniques for database optimization
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and documentation
• Provide production support for database, ETL, and reporting environments
