Network Security Analyst II RSA Archer Specialist
Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (occasional evenings/weekends as needed) Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst II RSA Archer Specialist to support enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting RSA Archer solutions that enable assessment, authorization, controls assurance, issue management, and continuous compliance monitoring.
This role works closely with Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Data Privacy, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly Archer applications in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain RSA Archer applications and solutions
- Support:
- Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
- Controls Assurance Program Management
- Issues Management
- Custom Archer applications
- Enterprise integrations
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements
- Translate requirements into:
- Technical solution designs
- Configuration specifications
- User stories
- Implementation plans
- Configure Archer components including:
- Questionnaires and surveys
- Forms and workflows
- Data relationships and calculations
- Role-based access controls
- Automated data imports and feeds
- Develop integrations using REST APIs and web services
- Implement client-side customizations using JavaScript and jQuery
- Produce and maintain technical and project documentation
- Support troubleshooting, optimization, deployments, and change management activities
- Provide knowledge transfer, training materials, and user support
Required Qualifications
- RSA Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
OR
- Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator Expert Certification
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in RSA Archer platform architecture and application configuration
- Experience with GRC processes, risk management, and compliance programs
- Hands-on experience integrating Archer with enterprise systems using REST APIs/web services
- Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on complex technical initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
- Familiarity with frameworks such as:
- NIST
- ISO 27001
- SOC
- Regulatory compliance programs
- Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Background in information security, risk, or compliance environments
