Role: Mainframe DB2 System Admin

Job Description:
Experience as a DB2 (on z/OS) L4 Database Administrator.
Working knowledge of DB2 Internals, fundaments, installations and operations.
Working knowledge of DB2 Data Sharing in Parallel Sysplex environment.
Knowledge of Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning.
Knowledge of security interface with DB2 & Experience with SMP/E and UserMods.
Experience with installation and using DB2 tools & ISV Products.
REXX, HTML and/or java code understanding ability, CICS/DB2 and MQ/DB2.
Knowledge of interfacing with and installing OEM vendor tools.
Disaster Recovery Planning and support.
Proficiency in DB2 Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning.
Proficiency in application related performance and tuning, access path analysis including extensive SQL coding tuning.
Proficiency in the use of DB2 monitoring tools, Logical and physical database design skills.
