Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive delivery of complex, cross-functional Data Center technical initiatives. This role will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within scope, and with clear visibility to leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with technical fluency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of one or more technical projects or initiatives.
Own end-to-end project lifecycle including scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and delivery artifacts.
Track and manage RAID items; proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Coordinate work across cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations.
Facilitate project ceremonies and stakeholder meetings as required.
Provide regular status reporting and executive-level updates directly and with clarity.
Partner with vendors, OEMs, and external teams when applicable.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Drive accountability while operating primarily through influence.
Project & Technical Environment
Cloud and infrastructure initiatives.
Data center or hardware deployments.
Network or systems migrations.
Security, compliance, or platform modernization efforts.
Multi-workstream or program-level initiatives. The Technical Project Manager is expected to understand technical concepts well enough to communicate effectively with engineers and architects, identify risks, and keep delivery on track without necessarily being hands-on in this current role. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project or program management roles, specifically in a Data Center environment.
Demonstrated experience managing technical projects in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and delivery methodologies.
Experience working with technical teams (engineering, infrastructure, operations).
Proficiency with common PM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, data center, or network projects.
Prior experience working with vendors or offshore teams.
PMP, Scrum, SAFe, or other relevant certifications (preferred, not required).
Experience operating within PMO or governed enterprise environments.
