This role combines expertise in purchased parts and in-house make-part processes, focusing on earned value management (EVMS), material/labor costing, procurement, MRO/aftermarket, and performance tracking. The analyst will bridge SAP S/4HANA data with Cobra EVMS, ensuring accurate program performance metrics in a highly regulated NS2 Gov Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop time-phased Estimates to Complete (ETC) and forecasts aligned with contract Period of Performance (PoP)
  • Build and maintain baseline costs for:
    • Purchased parts: quantity, unit price, extended value, vendor services, subcontract material
    • Make parts: raw materials, labor, NPA, SRR, and vendor processing
  • Design labor and material tracking reports, including BCWP, BCWS, ACWP, CPI, SPI, and quantity/hour metrics
  • Support repair, rework, scrap, and excess material analysis in MRO/aftermarket operations
  • Define and validate S/4HANA ↔ Cobra integrations for material, labor, and EVMS data
  • Develop simulation and “what-if” scenarios for both labor and material baselines without affecting production or program baselines
  • Create BOM-, part-, and WBS-level data models supporting roll-up, drill-down, and snapshot reporting
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS in all financial and ERP processes
  • Support UAT, reconciliation, and validation during program rollouts and transformations

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP ERP Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Program Controls experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including:
    • MM, PP, PM, CO, FI, PS
  • Experience with PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management & Optimization) and GPD
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Procurement & supplier management
    • Shop floor routing, production orders, work centers, and standard hours (HPU)
    • Repair, rework, scrap, and aftermarket/MRO operations
    • Earned value concepts (BCWP, BCWS, ACWP, CPI, SPI)
  • Experience integrating SAP with Cobra or other EVMS tools
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate ERP data into program performance metrics
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D), defense contracting, or government programs
  • Familiarity with ITAR, FAR, DFARS compliance requirements
  • Experience with SAP NS2 Secure Government Cloud (Gov Cloud)
  • Knowledge of RISE transformation programs
  • Experience with SAP Analytics tools (SAC, BW/4HANA) or external BI platforms
  • Experience with Make-to-Engineer (MTE) or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) operations

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication across manufacturing, finance, and program controls teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex transformation program
  • Comfortable bridging functional, technical, and operational stakeholders

Why Join

This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact, multi-year SAP transformation, supporting both material procurement and in-house manufacturing/labor performance in a highly regulated, mission-critical A&D environment.
