Project-based analytics engagement focused on leveraging Kroger
Collaborative Cloud data to answer high-impact business questions using shopper
transaction, basket, and loyalty data. The role will partner closely with Customer
Development, Shopper Marketing, and Analytics teams to translate data into actionable
insights that inform promotions, assortment, pricing, and shopper strategy
Core Skills
Advanced analytical skills using SQL and/or Python to manipulate and analyze large
transaction-level datasets.
Strong understanding of shopper analytics concepts, including trip missions, basket
analysis, penetration, frequency, and cross-purchase behavior.
Experience designing analytical approaches to answer promotion, pricing,
assortment, and shopper marketing business questions.
Ability to translate business questions into analytical hypotheses and structured
analyses.
Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with experience creating clear,
compelling, and executive-ready outputs.
Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects for business stakeholders, from
problem definition through insight delivery.
Experience analyzing retailer transaction and loyalty data to drive commercial
decisions.
Experience creating data visualizations and summaries using tools such as Power
BI, Excel, or similar
Experience working with Customer Development, Sales, or Shopper Marketing
teams.
Experience in consumer goods, retail, or related industries.
Direct experience with Kroger Collaborative Cloud, 84.51 Stratum, or similar
retailer data platforms.
Experience working with shopper marketing or joint business planning use cases.
Familiarity with syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) and how it complements
retailer transaction data.
Experience working in a project-based or consulting-style role with defined
timelines and deliverables.
