Role Overview:
The Oracle Delivery Manager is accountable for the successful delivery, governance, and growth of Oracle Financials programs across Oracle R12 and Oracle Fusion environments. This role focuses on delivery leadership, client relationship management, financial and risk oversight, and building high-performing delivery teams to achieve predictable outcomes and long-term client value.
Experience & Background:
15+ years of experience delivering large-scale Oracle Financials programs across implementation, rollout, and support models.
Proven leadership across Oracle Financial modules including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
Strong background in managing multi-vendor, onshore–offshore delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Governance Leadership:
Own end-to-end delivery accountability for Oracle Financials programs, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments are met.
Establish and drive delivery governance, including steering committees, executive reviews, and escalation management.
Provide clear, executive-level reporting on program status, risks, dependencies, and financials.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the senior delivery partner for clients, building trusted relationships with business and IT leadership.
Lead strategic discussions with clients on roadmap planning, value realization, and continuous improvement.
Independently conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance and performance reviews.
Program & Risk Management:
Proactively manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Enforce scope control, prevent scope creep, and lead change request prioritization and commercial discussions.
Ensure adherence to delivery standards, compliance requirements, and quality benchmarks.
People & Capability Leadership:
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing Oracle delivery teams across functional and technical roles.
Drive resource planning, capacity management, and skill development in collaboration with practice and recruitment teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Innovation & Growth Enablement:
Champion adoption of Oracle Cloud innovations, including AI-enabled capabilities, to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes.
Identify account-level growth opportunities, including expansions, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
Contribute to the growth of the Oracle practice through reusable assets, delivery excellence, and talent development.
