IT Site Support SpecialistLocation: Asheville, NC (Onsite - 3055 Sweeten Creek Road)
Duration: 12-month contract with strong potential to convert to full-time

You'll serve as the
primary onsite IT support for the Asheville, NC location and nearby sites, helping keep operations running smoothly and minimizing downtime in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be DoingAs an IT Site Support Specialist, you'll be the go-to resource for day-to-day technical support, including:
- Troubleshooting PC hardware issues (monitors, keyboards, mice, RF scanners, etc.)
- Supporting Windows 10 & Windows 11 environments
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software
- Supporting mobile devices such as phones and iPads (iOS and Apple devices)
- Performing basic network connectivity troubleshooting and escalating outages when needed
- Managing IT assets including procurement, configuration, repairs, and upgrades
- Delivering responsive, patient, and professional customer service to end users
- Supporting IT processes, projects, and change management at the site
- Proactively preventing IT-related downtime that could impact production
You won't be expected to be a networking expert, but a
solid understanding of how networks connect is important so you can perform basic troubleshooting before escalation.
Work Environment- Onsite support within a manufacturing / food production environment
- PPE required (hairnets, steel-toe shoes, etc.)
- Focused on keeping IT systems running to avoid production delays and revenue loss
- Occasional overnight travel may be required after conversion to full-time
- Once converted, travel may occur about once per month - all travel expenses are covered
Required Skills & Experience- 4-5 years of hands-on desktop support in an enterprise environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, mobile devices)
- Experience with Windows 10 & 11
- Familiarity with Active Directory and help desk processes
- Understanding of basic network connectivity
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and onsite
Nice-to-Have Skills(Not required, but a plus)
- SCCM (software deployment)
- Symantec AV Cloud
- Acronis (backup software)

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
