Location: Sugar Land, TX


Pay Rate: $57.69-$67.30/hour (DOE)


Job Type: Long-Term Temporary / Contract

We are hiring an experienced Analyzer Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Sugar Land, TX. This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in analytical systems integration, instrumentation, gas chromatographs, process control, and AutoCAD design.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement analyzer systems including sample systems, power, and communications

  • Develop Bills of Materials, purchase requisitions, and technical documentation

  • Support testing, factory acceptance, validation, and integration of gas chromatographs

  • Create P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop drawings, and construction packages

  • Design analyzer shelters including HVAC, UPS, grounding, lighting, fire & gas systems, and cable routing

  • Calculate lag times, heat dissipation, dew point, flash point, and power consumption

  • Coordinate with project teams, EPC firms, vendors, and end users

  • Ensure designs meet quality, schedule, cost, and safety standards


Qualifications:


  • BS in Engineering, AAS in Instrumentation/Analyzer Technology, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of analyzer, instrumentation, or process control experience (10+ preferred)

  • Strong AutoCAD experience required

  • Knowledge of API, ISA, NFPA, NEC, ISO, and electrical codes

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Visio, Project

  • Strong communication, planning, and multitasking skills
