Scrum Master – Banking & Cards

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Banking and Cards (Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Payments, Card Processing, Issuing, Acquiring, or Merchant Services). The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery, coach Scrum teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery of banking and payment-related projects.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Hands-on experience in Banking and Cards domain.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile principles.
• Experience managing multiple Scrum teams.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master) preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles and best practices.
• Remove blockers and impediments impacting sprint delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress using Jira and Agile metrics.
• Ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments.
• Monitor team velocity, burndown charts, and sprint health.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and architects.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies.
• Support release planning and production deployments.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to banking compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare Agile dashboards and executive status reports.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of API integration projects
• Experience in digital banking or fintech
• Exposure to regulatory compliance such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or AML
