Your role The Steam Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for our steam boiler rental business, focusing on territory development, customer acquisition, and relationship management. This role requires a technical understanding of steam systems, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions for diverse industries such as manufacturing, food processing, energy, and utilities..
You will
- Identify and pursue new rental opportunities within assigned territory
- Expand exisiting customer base and maintain long-term relationships
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, quoting, negotiation, and closing
- Manage the Sales Team, consisting of sales engineers across the US and Canada
- Conduct site visits and job assessments to recommend appropriate boiler rental solutions
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to size equipment, coordinate installation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, progress reports, and KPI tracking
- Develop and execute an annual territoy sales plans aligned with company goals for each ASM/territory

- You have a minimum 5 years experience of outside sales in industrial equipment rental or related sectors (boilers, chillers, HVAC, generators)
- You will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Businesss or related technical field preferred
- You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Have a strong technical aptitude in steam systems and boiler applications
- Have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Have proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Must have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory
- Must have a clean driving record for the past 36 months
