PeopleSoft Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented PeopleSoft Tester to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise PeopleSoft applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts, with a strong emphasis on automation using the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The ideal candidate will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple modules and environments.

• Responsibilities
  Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for PeopleSoft applications
  Utilize PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) to design and implement automated test cases
  Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
  Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools
  Support test planning activities, including test strategy, test cases, and test data preparation
  Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
  Participate in Agile or Waterfall development cycles as required
  Provide clear and concise test documentation and status reporting
  Education and Experience
  Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  Required Skills
  Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft testing, including PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
  Experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cycles
  Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
  Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
  Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios
  Desired Skills
  Experience testing PeopleSoft HCM
  Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing
  Experience working in Agile environments
  Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  Security Clearance
  Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
