AI Product Manager/ Product Owner Boston/New York Description We are seeking a high-impact AI Product Owner (PM) to drive the rapid development, commercialization, and scaling of our flagship AI product, Nova. This role sits directly under the Head of AI Innovation and is critical to shaping our AI product strategy and execution. The primary focus is to build Nova into a commercially viable product to achieve early wins, then strategically expand it into a product suite, and ultimately evolve it into a full AI platform and marketplace.
This role blends deep AI technical understanding with product leadership, requiring strong collaboration across AI engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders in the financial services sector.
Job specification AI Product Strategy & Execution - Lead the development of Nova from concept to commercial launch within a short timeline.
- Develop a phased roadmap:
- Quick-win commercial product
- Product suite
- AI platform
- AI marketplace
- Drive strategic planning, product vision, and prioritization aligned with AI innovation goals.
- Identify financial services use cases and evaluate business workflows for AI-enabled transformation.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration - Work hands-on with AI & Data Technology teams on:
- AI/ML architecture
- ML and data pipelines
- AI engineering
- Model deployment and evaluation
- Act as the technical-product bridge, translating business requirements into AI-ready specifications.
- Ensure robust AI development practices, including scalability, performance, reliability, and compliance.
AI Product Development Lifecycle Ownership - Lead end-to-end AI product development, including discovery, prototyping, validation, delivery, and iteration.
- Apply strong knowledge of the AI product development lifecycle, including LLM integration, model refinement, and prompt workflows.
- Maintain a disciplined, timeline-driven execution style while building the agility required in fast-moving AI landscapes.
- Champion adaptive design approaches to accommodate rapid AI technology evolution.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement - Partner closely with financial services business stakeholders to understand:
- Opportunity sizing
- Workflow mapping (current vs. AI-augmented)
- Compliance and operational requirements
- Build business cases and user stories grounded in measurable outcomes.
- Serve as the internal advocate for Nova's commercialization and expansion.
Preferred Technical Competency - Ability to participate in or lead parts of the development using AI-coding capabilities (e.g., rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, scripting, or model orchestration).
Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3-7+ years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, AI development, or related technical roles.
- 3+ years of product ownership or product management experience (formal or blended).
- Strong understanding of AI tech stacks, ML pipelines, and modern AI engineering practices.
- Experience in financial services or fintech product development.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced delivery with structured discipline and tight timelines.
- Excellent communication, requirements gathering, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Salary ranges from USD $175,000 - USD $ 225,000. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
